Terms of Service
Effective: July 27, 2026 · pinkcel is currently in beta.
1. The service
pinkcel is a browser-based 2D animation editor available at pinkcel.com and app.pinkcel.com. During the beta the service is provided free of charge. Features may change, break, or be removed while we build in public.
2. Your content is yours
Everything you create in pinkcel belongs to you. Your projects are stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your own Google Drive. We claim no ownership of and no rights to your work, and — by design — we do not even receive a copy of it. You are free to use what you make, commercially or otherwise.
3. Our assets and templates
Built-in characters, parts, presets and example files provided by pinkcel may be used inside your projects, including commercial ones. You may not extract and redistribute them as assets on their own (for example, re-selling a template pack).
4. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt or overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities beyond good-faith reporting, or use it to violate someone else's rights or the law.
5. Accounts
Sign-in is via your Google account and is optional. You are responsible for your own Google account security. You can revoke pinkcel's access to your Drive at any time in your Google account settings.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This is beta software: keep backups of important work (the built-in local autosave and Drive saves make that easy). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages or loss of data arising from the use of the service.
7. Future paid features
We may introduce optional paid features (for example sharing, a premium asset library, or server-side rendering). The free editor remains free; any subscription terms will be published here before launch.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the effective date above always reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
